Goal: Define American Whitewater mobile user experience and visual style.

Role: Product designer. I defined user experience, created wireframes and prototypes, conducted user testings and defined the visual style for both Android and iOS apps.

Timeline: I worked with two engineers to build the apps as a side project. We launched the Android App in September 2017, and the iOS App in August 2018. We are consistently collecting user feedback and rolling out new features.

Result

We reached 2300+ iOS users during the first month of launch, and engaged 2100+ Android users since the first release of the Android app. We received a lot of positive feedback from the organization, and several hundreds of likes on the Facebook post. At the same time, American Whitewater non-profit organization got a significant increase of memberships and donations because of the app.
